Revista Internacional de Investigación en Adicciones (RIIAD)  is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that, since January 2026, has adopted a continuous publication model and adheres to international best practices in scholarly publishing.

As an open-access journal, all published articles are freely accessible and free of charge to users immediately upon publication. Users are permitted to:

• Read, download, copy, distribute, and print the full texts of the articles.
• Search, link to, or use them for any other lawful, non-commercial purpose.

To this end, all articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

RIIAD does not charge authors any Article Processing Charges (APCs) or submission fees, nor does it charge readers to access, download, or read the content. The journal operates on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
